Buses replace some trains 4 and 5 May
There are times when trains will not operate on the Auckland rail network due to maintenance, services will be replaced by a rail bus.

Rail replacement bus services are shown in the Journey Planner and AT Mobile app as bus services.
Line closures on Saturday 4 May and Sunday 5 May 2019

Southern line
Buses will replace trains between Penrose and Pukekohe.
Trains will operate between Britomart and Penrose.
Eastern line
Buses will replace trains between Panmure and Manukau.
Trains will operate between Britomart and Sylvia Park.
Onehunga line
Trains will operate as normal.
Western line
Trains will operate as normal.
Please plan ahead using the Journey Planner.

Reason for line closure: On the Southern/Eastern lines there will be trackwork from Westfield to Pukekohe, the Otahuhu 3rd main project and pedestrian gating in the Takanini area.

Replacement buses
Rail replacement bus services are shown in the Journey Planner and AT Mobile app as bus services. They will have the route codes RBS, RBW, RBO, RBE for Rail Bus Southern, Rail Bus Western, Rail Bus Onehunga and Rail Bus Eastern. All valid tickets and passes currently accepted on trains will be accepted on rail bus replacements.
