The Association


The Association represents a group of industry members who wish to develop the structure and systems of the ethnic media industry and improve communications into and back-from the ethnic communities and the “hard to reach” audiences in NZ. The goal is to improve efficiencies and the effectiveness of communications for the industry in New Zealand.


The Association was restructured as an independent incorporated Society in June of 2015 to allow for multi-level membership from the Ethnic Media Companies, Government Agencies, Advertising Agencies and Community groups and for those members to function together effectively with the vision of improving communications into these “hard to reach” audiences and developing a code of ethics and industry standards.
