All the profits from Niche Media Ltd and the Bureau of Ethnic Communication go to the Pouwels Charitable Foundation and this supports the development of media professionals from the Māori, Pacific and Asian communities, through a Paid Scholarship, (Paid Internship program).
These candidates will receive training and university accreditation in every aspect of the media industry and in the management of the Media Bureau. These candidates will coordinate “direct community engagement”, for their communities, as “community liaison managers and play a vital role in the future direction of the company and the industry.
