The main objective of Radio Apna is to provide the best in Hindi music, provide educational programs, in depth radio news, local and international and present an assortment of programs to educate the listeners.
Apna 990 is formatted as a music station, which also recognize its listeners’ traditional and cultural values. The listenership figure is estimated to be around 80,000 and the listener ship demographic includes members of the Indian, Fijian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani and Punjabi communities. Radio Apna see high levels of texts, phone calls and emails from it's many listeners responding to advertising campaigns, competitions, music requests and shout outs.
